Militants’ deafening silence

12:01 AM August 09, 2014

Bayan Muna and several activist groups constantly hold rallies near the US Embassy, Roxas Boulevard, where they block a whole stretch of the road going south. As a commuter, I am disgusted with these groups for causing inconvenience and discomfort to the public, most especially to commuters and motorists.

These groups keep ranting against the Americans on the issue of imperialism which is no longer relevant today. Why can’t they rally at the Chinese Embassy instead? Their silence on the Chinese’s incursions into our territory is very deafening.
