With his prime behind him, time for Pacquiao to retire

Mommy Dionisia and wifey Jinkee have very wise advice for Manny Pacquiao: Retire now. Yup. Leave while the audience is still applauding.

Given his age and the blows on the head he has received, Pacquiao, most objective observers say, has his prime behind him.

And, we need to know more about the Manly Art of Modified Murder. About “chronic traumatic encephalopathy, a progressive brain disease caused by numerous hits to the head that has been discovered in former athletes during autopsies.” We don’t want any boxer to be like stammering, stuttering Muhammad Ali, a great physical specimen in his prime.

On Manny’s taxes, BIR chief Kim Henares can only be supported, even cheered, in her determination to settle the arrears issue. Promoter Bob Arum after all said that relevant US Internal Revenue Service documents were on their way here last November yet. By snail mail? It is now April.
