‘Vaccine and Cha-cha’ sounds better

“Bakuna, hindi Cha-cha,” they said. Why does it seem like all the efforts made by our government is always wrong to these people? Bakuna muna, hindi Cha-cha? Is it wrong to tackle another important matter? COVID-19 is not the only problem we are facing right now. We have a lot of problems that also require attention and resources.

In my personal view, I am glad that the government is doing something that should be done and multitasking instead of loafing around.

Salvador Panelo was also right: The pandemic is not an excuse not to tackle Cha-cha. Although the timing is questionable, it is better to start the amendment as early as possible so we can immediately revive our economy, as it is our main goal this year—to “Reset, Rebound, and Recover.”

Our economy has been greatly devastated by the pandemic, and if Cha-cha is one of the best options our government can do to revive our economy, then why not?
