Bus stops in middle of Edsa dangerous

/ 04:02 AM June 23, 2020

This is regarding the article “Bus stops in the middle of Edsa questioned” (News, 6/20/20).

I believe this is the most sane question posed by Sen. Nancy Binay this year, challenging the insane decision of the Department of Transportation and the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority. Imagine, the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases ordering/allowing a return to work without public transportation — and now they allow buses on the inner lane, in the process putting people in danger? What a shame!

Filipinos are branded as “gaya-gaya.” Why not emulate other countries that have made their main roads only for buses and emergency vehicles?
