Still ‘most powerful’

/ 05:12 AM March 28, 2019

I have read most of Mr. Peter Wallace’s usually well-researched articles, but “Apocalypse” (3/7/19) was misleading when he wrote that America was “once considered the strongest country in the world.”

With the United States having islands in every ocean and sea in the world, including the Pacific overlooking South China Sea, as well as their aircraft carriers with nuclear weapons, fully armed bombers, helicopters and battleships, and Fort Knox still overflowing with gold bars, America is still the richest and the most powerful country in the world. That’s the truth.
