‘Most expensive electricity’

That some congressmen saw it fit to shelve and most likely archive a possible solution to the high cost of power is a source of puzzlement to us long-harassed consumers. We can only suspect the motives of these lawmakers.
However, that the loudest voices of those against the move to cut down electricity costs come from party-list lawmakers did not come as a surprise. These party-list groups are long suspected of protecting vested interests and abandoning their oath to be the voice of the marginalized in our society.
