Calling the attention of Southern Luzon authorities

/ 12:10 AM June 30, 2016

From my window seat on my return flight to Manila from Mindanao in May 2016, I saw a mountain being flattened. It’s located around the southern area of Luzon. A rather tall and wide mountain, it’s top was already gone, and it was flattened midway its height.

I wonder if the flattening of that mountain has the proper permit and also if the activity will not cause a disaster in the area. I can’t remember if I saw infrastructure near the mountain because my sight was focused on the flattened mountain. I got alarmed at the sight. I hope the authorities south of Luzon will look into this activity, if they don’t know about it yet.
