Kudos to UPLB history teachers for anti-Marcos statement

This is a reaction to a news item (“Marcos Jr. faces rising opposition,” Front Page, 4/14/16).

First of all, allow me to reiterate my unwavering and categorical support for the statement issued by more than 100 UP Los Baños faculty members “assailing the Marcos family for what they called ‘an organized and willful distortion of history.’”

Kudos and more power to the history teachers of UPLB who, according to Dwight Diestro of the Department of Social Sciences, prepared and signed the statement.
