It was a miracle.

Here  is how it happened. For almost a year, my wife Trining and I could seldom go to church to hear Mass on Sundays. Much more so after I was hospitalized for acute bronchopneumonia and heart failure, which resulted in my knees quivering when I walk. In order to hear Mass on Sundays, we resorted to Sunday Masses on ABS-CBN’s Channel 2, the Healing Eucharist Mass usually celebrated by Society of Divine Word fathers. Occasionally, we would miss the 6 o’clock morning Mass when we would oversleep because of an occasion the previous night.

But on Sunday morning of March 2, 2014, we were able to catch the Healing Eucharist Mass celebrated by Fr. Joey Faller. That morning, before the Mass ended, Father Faller started the healing prayer, advising those inside the church to place their right palms over where their illness was; and those with heart ailment, their right palm over their left breast, which I did. To my surprise, after the healing prayer my irregular heartbeat disappeared. Forthwith, I thanked God for the miracle.
