Urgent action on dam sought from Aquino

In behalf of all Bulakeños, I would like to call the attention of our beloved President Aquino to act fast on a promise he made last year regarding the immediate restoration of Angat Dam in Bulacan, which has been found to have cracks.

Considering that Angat Dam lies above the Marikina Valley Fault System, it’s not farfetched that its adjacent Bulacan towns could be inundated with 10-feet high water or more should an earthquake of 7.5 magnitude hit the area.

In view thereof, it all now depends on the President to take the initiative to immediately address this serious threat before it’s too late.

Mr. President, we, Bulakeños, are begging you to act fast for the safety of millions of  Bulakeños.
