Querubin clarifies item on wife’s death

/ 09:04 PM August 26, 2013

This is in reference to the article titled “Querubin recalls wife’s tragic ties with Janet; her checks bounced” (Front Page, 8/15/13) by Julliane de Jesus.

Some clarifications. I knew that my first wife died of unexplained primary pulmonary hypertension right after her autopsy. It was only after I read the interview of the former military doctor that I learned how stressful the circumstances were leading to her death. My first wife lost consciousness a day before she died, at the office in Pasay Road, Makati, and not in Laguna.

—ARIEL QUERUBIN,

retired Marine colonel
