Exasperated with SSS’ countless delaying tactics

/ 08:47 PM May 26, 2013

I am the surviving legal wife of the late Bernardino de Vera (SS ID No: 02-0076601-8), a former employee of Central Azucarera de Tarlac, who is entitled to EC (employee’s compensation) death benefit pension under Presidential Decree 626, as amended (CA-G.R.SP No. 118690, June 11, 2012). The entry of judgment was issued by the Court of Appeals’ First Division in November 2012.

Due to the countless delaying tactics, of which the Social Security System doesn’t seem to run out of, I still have not been paid my EC death benefit and the related monthly pension rate adjustments (EC and SS). SSS Tarlac has been giving me the runaround for the past six months. I am exhausted.

This letter is my way of bringing this matter to the attention of President Aquino, so he will order the officials of the SSS to release my EC death benefit, pension rate adjustments and SSS death benefit.
