Fil-Ams to protest China’s bully act

May 11, 2012 is an important date for Filipino organizations in the United States. On that day, global Pinoys will conduct rallies and demonstrations in front of Chinese embassies and consulates to denounce Chinese intrusions into the waters off Scarborough Shoal.

It is heartwarming to know that our Fil-Am brothers and sisters have banded together for the cause of the Philippines. These Pinoys at heart have answered the call to all Filipinos to come out and participate in mass actions to support the Philippine claim to the shoal.

To take time out of their very busy schedules, these Pinoys have started to make noise and also called on all Filipinos around the world to stage similar demonstrations against China.

China should heed these growing protests as its bully act has created for itself an ugly image in the eyes of the whole world, especially its Asian neighbors.
