May impeachment trial unite Filipinos

/ 01:52 AM February 06, 2012

It’s statesmanship that makes a true leader loved by his people. It is good governance that rules with an honest mind tempered with a golden heart for all—friend, ally and foe, rich and poor alike.

A statesman moves forward steadfastly and thinks ahead of his time, unswayed by the pomp and splendor of the moment, the woes of the present or things past—instead growing wiser by learning from past mistakes.

With a vision of tomorrow, he cleanses his mind of frivolities and does not subject himself to the fleeting whims of emotions which (he should know) could drag him down and blur his sight of his goals.
