Aquino too mean to Arroyo

/ 10:23 PM November 13, 2011

To be sure, I do not regret I did not vote Benigno Simeon Aquino III for president of our country. He is so consumed with his honesty and “straight path” that he has forgotten to respect the presidency and motherhood. He is so obsessed with political justice that he has forgotten basic human rights due a person like Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

I am so upset that Mr. Aquino, the President and highest official of this land, supposedly the big brother of every Filipino, could be so mean to a former president of this country, someone who served our people for so many years. How could he be so mean to her? GMA is very ill. Must he taunt her with the offer that government will pay for her medical expenses? That is callousness, unexpected of a son of democratic icons Ninoy and Cory.

My heart and soul goes to Arroyo—my ardent prayers too. May she continue her journey back to good health. I thank her for serving our country.
