Important to defend the helpless

04:02 AM December 09, 2019

This is a response to the letter “Vico Sotto acted beyond mandate, should stay neutral” (11/26/19).

I stand on the opposite side of this view. People in the lower classes have no one fighting for them, so this voice is important.

Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto can support people as the mayor or as a private person.

He has been doing something good for his city. Democracy may be not perfect, but it is still better than dictatorship.

Jail is the answer of the weak, while diplomacy is of the strong and smart.

As a person living in Pasig, I am very proud of our mayor. He has a great future in politics, and we should watch him closely and support him.
