Slow process in issuing business permit

I want to commend the administration for punishing corrupt government officials, but I want to share an instance where I
experienced incompetence.

It took me one and a half years to receive the issuance of the business permit that I applied for. The business I started from a three-door apartment expanded to building rentals because of my team’s hard work.

Last year, we planned to expand it to the Pasig area, because we believe that this is one of the best cities for businesses. But I did not expect that applying for a business or building permit would take more than a year.

I secured all the requirements and followed religiously all the procedures. I do not have any bad record, so I wonder why the issuance of my business permit was delayed.

I hope the government can take a look at such delays, so they won’t happen to other businessmen and investors.
