Foulness and distastefulness — aren’t these (like dumbness and cruelty) among the basic characteristics of the Duterte administration?

Isn’t Mocha Uson simply being in character with her chief executive?

So many senators quickly criticized the assistant communications secretary; how many of them called out the President for trash-talking God, Pope Francis and the United Nations?

If Uson were to be included in public approval surveys, she would probably get, like Mr. Duterte, a “very good” rating.

If so, then who would be wrong: Duterte/Uson critics, or the 72 percent of Filipinos who approve of these two who morally “ride in tandem”?
