Who’s violating the country’s sovereign rights?

05:05 AM April 23, 2018

I could not agree more with Ceres P. Doyo on her “Propoor nun, ‘nasampolan”’ (4/19/18). Sister Patricia Fox is being accused by President Duterte of disorderly conduct and violating the country’s sovereignty. (I imagine the local folks and communities who know this nun would have something different to say about her.)

But what about the Chinese government’s invasion of Philippine territories? And most recently the Chinese military plane landings on Panganiban Reef? But it is the nun who is being accused of violating the country’s sovereignty! Oh, Mr. President, it’s all so silly and ridiculous, to say the least.
