Poe ditching coco farmers for Danding Cojuangco?

THIS IS in reaction to the news article titled “Grace defends Danding on coco levy,” (Second Front Page, 3/10/16). According to the report, Grace Poe said it’s the government that should be blamed, not Eduardo “Danding”

Cojuangco, for the delay in the use of the coco levy fund for the benefit of coconut farmers becuase Cojuangco is no longer in control of it.

The use of the coconut levy fund for the benefit of coconut farmers has been delayed for so long because of Cojuangco. Just after the Edsa uprising, then President Cory Aquino issued an executive order creating the Presidential Commission on Good Government.

The main goal of the commission is to recover the ill-gotten wealth of the Marcoses, one of which is the coconut levy fund. However,

We ask Grace Poe: Where does she stand? Does she support the case of impoverished coconut farmers or is she currying favors to stay in the good graces of Danding Cojuangco?
