Reader asks Young Blood writer to be his pen pal

I AM reacting to the poignant yet humorous Young Blood article of Cristel Maureen Mandal (“Passion aflame,” Opinion, 4/23/15). I’m praying she gets her health back in a hurry. But meantime, may I suggest to her to take up writing seriously since I perceive her true talent is here, and it’s a career that she can practice for as long as she lives.

And, Cristel, I wish to be your pen pal. I have interesting ideas to propose to you.
