Clooney’s involvement in Arroyo’s case ‘telling’

I am smart enough to admit that I am not an expert on law. Furthermore, I don’t know much about international human rights lawyer Amal Clooney and neither am I privy to the ins and outs of the PCSO plunder case against Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.

But what I do know is what I see, and what I see is that there are an awful lot of delays and highly questionable things regarding the plunder case. And they apply only to Arroyo, given the fact that her coaccused have long been granted bail.

By all accounts, Clooney is internationally respected for the work that she has done all around the world. So for her to take on the

Arroyo case, questioning the validity of the charges against her and citing the violation of her rights is, in my humble opinion, quite telling. It’s not for me to conclude what this means, but Clooney commiserating with the plight of Arroyo definitely does more than just raising eyebrows as to what is going on with the Arroyo charges.
