Yet another day made by Lifestyle
Again Inquirer’s Lifestyle editor Thelma Sioson San Juan made my day last July 28!
I’m referring to Gilda Cordero-Fernando’s “Making magic.” Images of those hilarious wheel chairs and her account of their neighborhood Santacruzans evoked my own memory of how our Alpha Village tradition of Children Christmas Day every Dec. 25 started.
Conchita C. Razon’s “Finding the bright side of life” reinforces my own philosophy of life which enables me to stay “alive and kicking” at age 92.
Article continues after this advertisementChit Roces-Santos’ “For love of dogs” brought back memories—the pain and torture at 10, when my eldest dog Fido disappeared forever one day. And more recently, the relief and joy of finally finding our lost three-year-old peacefully asleep with her head resting comfortably on the tummy of our dog D.J. under our large dining table!
