‘One with every other’ regardless of beliefs, etc.

I write this in reaction to the letter titled “Casiño a leftist but not a genuine nationalist” (Inquirer, 5/25/13).

I voted for Casiño in the last elections. The Philippines used to be touted as the only Christian country in the Far East. But perhaps our people can learn from India, a predominantly Hindu nation. In the Indian Parliament, some members are communists representing legitimate political parties. Yes, in India, you can be a Marxist and still be a Hindu.

We have Sagada in the Mountain Province, and it is not only awesome nature, ancient culture, lovely people, it is heavenly peace, too. If India has the spiritual Mount Abu near Jaipur, the Pink City, we have Mount Apo in Mindanao, not to mention our own majestic and awesome Mount Banahaw in Southern Luzon.

Whatever, whoever you are,  namaskar [a Hindu form of salutation]! I salute the divinity within you, with all the divine charms of my mind and all the cordiality of my heart.

Om  Shanti [a message of peace for all human kind, for all living and nonliving beings, for the universe, for each and every thing in this whole cosmic manifestation—YahooAnswers]: I am a peaceful soul.

The Father be praised!

Here’s a short prayer for us:

“O hidden light shining in every creature

“O hidden life vibrant in every atom

“O hidden love embracing all in oneness

“May each who feel one with thee know he is therefore one with every other.”

And at the United Nations:

“Giver of Breath and Bread
