PMS referred pensioner’s letter to GSIS

THIS REFERS to Jaime J. Dayao’s letter to the editor. (“GSIS ranks still infested with NPAs non-performing assets,” Inquirer, 4/8/11)

Please be informed that our office referred the letter (which requested the release of his monthly pension) to the Government Service Insurance System on Sept. 20, 2010. In response, the GSIS, through Margie A. Jorillo, wrote Dayao that his pension accrual claim is already being processed by the GSIS Internal Reconciliation Department.

In this regard, we have requested the GSIS to update Dayao on further actions taken by the GSIS regarding his petition, copy furnished the Presidential Management Staff.
