Soldiers who fall in line of duty deserve respect
It is so unfortunate that six Army soldiers are missing, and one lost his life in rescue operations during the onslaught of Typhoon “Pablo.” The soldiers were there to lend a helping hand to those who were facing grave danger because of a deadly typhoon, as they always do every time the country is hit by a natural calamity.
We pray and hope these soldiers will be found alive for they have more missions to accomplish. Their families are anxious, I am sure, though prepared for the worst.
Soldiers, by becoming so, offer to lay down their lives for the country. Those who fall in the line of duty deserve our respect; they deserve to be honored, to be remembered in our hearts.
