An attack on patriotism

/ 09:32 PM December 23, 2021

I love the Philippine eagle. I am for its conservation at all costs. But to displace Vicente Lim, Jose Abad Santos, and Josefa Llanes-Escoda from our P1,000 bill is a brazen attack on whatever patriotism we still have.

Lim, Abad Santos, and Llanes-Escoda chose the Motherland over their own lives during some of our darkest days. They died for us. To immortalize them is the least we can do to repay the valor that we may never see again.
