Fix roads now while there’s no traffic
FOOD for thought to the Department of Public Works and Highways and/or the Metro Manila Development Authority: In these times when the entire Metro Manila is a veritable ghost town due to the enhanced community quarantine, why haven’t their bright boys taken advantage of the fact that Edsa, other highways, roads, and streets hereabouts are sparsely traveled at present?
They could do all the repairs now or whatever needs to be done, instead of racking their brains over very chaotic traffic when things return to normal again — which may not happen until the end of the year!
Are they in graver danger and more scared of infection than the frontliners in hospitals and other health centers?
Article continues after this advertisementThere is much room for “social distancing” among their workers on Edsa, etc. So, what’s the big deal?
