Why the indifference?

President Duterte once called the God of Christians “stupid.”

Now he has also called Supreme Court Justice Antonio Carpio “stupid” for the latter’s opinion on the illegality of allowing Chinese nationals to fish within Philippine waters.

It is understandable why Christians have not asked for Mr. Duterte’s “excommunication.” They are cowards.

What is not understandable is why the Supreme Court seems unperturbed by the insult to its most senior member.
