Pensions in Pola taking too long to process

/ 05:00 AM July 22, 2017

I just want to report the very slow processing of senior citizen’s pensions in our town of Pola, Oriental Mindoro. My parents are both pensioners, but for about seven months they haven’t received even a single cent. Officials of our town are not really prioritizing the pensions.

A P500 monthly allowance that a pensioner should be receiving takes seven months to approve? That’s ridiculously crazy, right? So this clearly shows that those officials who need to work on this are not
doing their jobs.

That’s why I decided to voice this out. Because I believe that if this issue will be publicized, the higher-ups will get alarmed over the situation of the poor senior citizens of
our town.
