President Duterte seems to be willing to abandon Panatag Shoal to China because of the multibillion dollar deals that he has been offered by Beijing. This is absolutely mindless, criminal and unconstitutional. And we all know that the Chinese will sign any and all deals and later repudiate them.

So the President should allow the country to retain the last shred of dignity and tell the Chinese: “Money down first!”
