Real solution to MM’s woes

Decongest Metro Manila—of people. That’s the real solution to most of this metropolis’ problem—traffic, criminality, informal settlers, joblessness, etc. There are simply too many people in a small area like Metro Manila.

The government and the private sector should develop Mindanao, the Visayas and other areas of Luzon by putting up factories and focusing on agribusiness. Then the “probinsiyano” in Metro Manila could go back to their provinces with hope and a future to look forward to.
