A Chinese saying for Digong

Having become so chummy with the nabobs of the Chinese bureaucracy, President Duterte should take to heart a widely known Chinese saying: “Less talk, less mistake; no talk, no mistake!”

Indeed, the more the President opens his mouth, the

bigger trouble the whole country gets into. And the worst part is, today he says one thing, y mañana otra cosa (the next day, another). Even his own mouthpieces are falling over each other to give the “correct interpretation” of the unthinkable and unspeakable things he spews out almost on a daily basis.

How far can his Cabinet men, with supposedly high IQs, go in making fools of themselves? Do they really need the job that very badly?
