A worthy suggestion

12:02 AM November 07, 2016

The suggestion made by retired general Ramon Farolan in his Oct. 31 column (“Why not head for the beaches?” Opinion) about setting another day, instead of All Saints/Souls Day, for visiting our departed relatives, deserves consideration by everyone. Following his suggestion, my family will henceforth schedule our visits to the cemetery on the birthdays of my late parents.

It is hoped that with Farolan’s example, the public, for the good of all, will follow suit and help ease the infernal traffic, crowds, stress and exasperation that come with our observance of All Saints/Souls Day.
