President Duterte should heed the call of former president Fidel V. Ramos for him to tone down his rhetoric and instead buckle down to work.
As an elder statesman and a respected leader in the international community, Ramos meant all that he said on how President Duterte is running the country not to his liking.
President Duterte should refrain from lambasting the United States for it could hurt the Philippine economy in the end.
President Duterte should take seriously Ramos’ criticism as a wake-up call before it’s too late.
After all, we know the former president meant well and had the welfare of the Filipino people in mind.
