Well-articulated concerns

/ 01:05 AM October 28, 2016

I was quite impressed with the Young Blood article written by Jose Paolo T. Sison (“Unacceptable tolerance,” Opinion, 10/25/16).

At first I had the impression that it was written by someone who was much older, as the insight that he offered on the downside of being gay in this country had a lot of substance. Moreover, his writing style was crisp and his concerns were very well articulated. So it came as

a surprise to know that he is only 18.

If that essay was the first chapter of a book, I’d look forward to reading the rest of the manuscript.
