Not for Pinoy kids

/ 12:12 AM October 08, 2016

Let me thank Rina Jimenez David for standing by the truth, with the Catholic Church in her column “It’s personal” (Opinion, 10/4/16), where she raised her concerns about  the erosion of the cherished Filipino values of maka-Diyos, makatao and makabayan, and respect for individual rights and love of democracy, given the way of the new administration.

Indeed, it’s been a rough ride for the country and, sadly, very few of us have spoken like she did.

With David, many of us pray for the future of our loved ones. Let us continue to be vigilant and stand by the principles of family, compassion, mercy and truth.

Rina, thank you for the column. Keep those things coming! We are in this together. I personally hope that your grandson does not have to deal with this mess in the future.
