Killing is bad whether the person who does it is a hardened criminal or is in a position of power with a mission order.
Through the sanctioned summary executions perpetrated daily before our very eyes, and owing to the oft-repeated “kill” word that we hear from those who are supposed to be first in upholding, protecting and preserving life, our citizens are in effect being told, taught and goaded to commit murder—making it easy for anybody to submit to his vile instincts to take another human being’s life even at the slightest provocation, for whatever reason or for no sense.

God forbid that we one day become a country of heartless, ruthless, proud criminals who, instead of condemning their crimes, would be praising and adoring them. It’s confounding how the crime rate is said to be going down when we are being bombarded by news of manslaughter like never before.
If the extrajudicial killings will not stop soon, we may yet become a people that do not value life or value nothing at all. What we have at this time is prognostic of what is to come. Alas, the nation seems to be getting animalistic and many of our people are happy about it.
