Go after vandals, litterbugs, too, Rody urged

SINCE NATIONAL discipline is the principal guidepost of the incoming administration, President-elect Rodrigo Duterte should also prohibit, penalize and punish vandals defacing the walls of public and private properties and uglifying our surroundings, especially in Metro Manila.

With the full support and backing of the mayors and civic organizations, Duterte should also enforce an antilittering law to get rid of litterbugs who discard their trash on major and minor thoroughfares and other public places.

These twin moves would certainly go a long way in transforming Metro Manila into a clean and orderly metropolis.
