Duterte told: Talk about justice, not about rape

/ 12:10 AM April 27, 2016

Rape is a serious issue. It should never be the subject of a joke by anyone, whoever he/she is —be he/she an ordinary citizen or a candidate for president. The presidency is a position that should be used to set an example in promoting decency and respect for women.

This is not just about treating rape as a laughing matter. This is also about the failure of a leader to respect the memory of a woman who was killed.

Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte should talk about justice instead.
