Indeed, corruption is a serious problem

/ 12:10 AM April 01, 2016

The Liberal Party’s political advertisement, shown occasionally on local television, sits well with the majority of the Filipino voters.

“Hindi ako magnanakaw” (I am not a thief), declares former interior secretary Mar Roxas, LP’s standard-bearer. This self-avowal is timely and very relevant and could even woo voters, especially the undecided, to his fold come election time.

His political handlers are on the right track, hammering and focusing on corruption as one of the many ills and political issues facing our country today.

Elections come and go, but Roxas’ battle cry against corruption will forever be or for quite some time be etched in the minds of Filipinos, young and old alike.
