Remembering the inimitable, incomparable Romy Capulong

12:02 AM March 16, 2016

Salute and fondest remembrance to our beloved leader, mentor, colleague, friend and comrade, the inimitable and incomparable Romeo “Romy” T. Capulong.

He blazed the trail, taught and guided, criticized even, and continuously inspired us lawyers for the people, young and old. He coaxed us to serve the people with passion and dedication; with the purity of commitment despite our imperfections weaknesses and frailties; with the nobleness of the cause; the correctness of the struggle; and the partisanship for the underdog as our common bond.

Thinking of you, sir, on your birthday and birth month, with the most vivid of memories and shared experience as we continue to plod and fight in struggles and challenges that you would have expected of us despite our fallibility.
