PRESIDENTIAL candidate Jejomar Binay must regard the typical (Chinoy) Chinese-Filipino businessman as he does his Chinoy accomplices.
Kim Henares may have transgressed judicious bounds in the Bureau of Internal Revenue’s tax-generation efforts—as some of the agency’s publicized reverses suggest—but Binay’s vow to the Chinoys that there will be “No Kim Henares in my gov’t” (Front Page, 2/29/16) demeans not just the Chinese-Filipino businessmen but also the entire business community.
Candidate Binay must have something up his sleeve about funding the government’s expanding budget.
The presidential candidates’ debates may yet reveal his wizardry.
