This is in reaction to the news report titled “PDEA presses case vs. former colleague” (Second Front Page, 2/6/15).
The public must be devastated over the state of affairs in our military after Marine Lt. Col. Ferdinand Marcelino, newly appointed superintendent of the Navy Office Candidate School, was reported to have been arrested under extremely suspicious circumstances involving a major crime—illegal drug manufacture and distribution.
The “highfalutin” claims of the P-Noy presidency about “daang matuwid” have lost credibility due to such adverse reports. “Imperial” Manila’s condescending take of Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte’s focus on street crime and drugs has thus earned for this presidential candidate credibility and support.
Rightly so!
