Knowing Letty and running a regular column on leading women

12:00 AM February 17, 2016

Letty Jimenez-Magsanoc was a complete stranger to me until that somber day in December when I read the article on her death. From thereon I read every bit about her and I became a stranger no more, in my own way.

She is “hard to find, one of a kind” Filipino woman. I like to suggest that the Inquirer should have a special column on women like Letty. The United States has its “Leading Women.” We should have our “Women of Substance.”
