SSS tells Dela Dingcos: manual verification done, and sorry for delay
This is in reference to a letter from spouses Vic and Vanjie dela Dingco, regarding their request for a manual verification of their SSS contributions.
Mr. Dela Dingco said: “My wife and I, both retirees, have long requested the SSS a similar manual verification to be done on our un-posted contributions (19 months and five years of contributions respectively) through SSS Las Piñas. My wife’s request was dated/marked received last Oct. 15, 2009 and mine was July 30, 2010. So it has been 20 months (for my wife) and 11 months (for myself) running since we filed our requests.”
According to our Contributions Accounting Department, Ms Dela Dingco’s pension was based on computation made after the manual verification of her records. There would be no adjustment in her pension.
But manual verification on Mr. Dela Dingco’s contribution records showed an additional five credited years of service (CYS). He now has 38.666 CYS from the previous 33.666. His pension will be adjusted from P10,399.80 to P11,899.80. He will also receive a back payment amounting to P27,143.69.
SSS Las Piñas has apologized to the Dela Dingcos for the delay in the processing of their manual verification requests.
