Pinoys, the reason Imelda remains free

/ 12:12 AM December 03, 2015

On the past criminal extravagance of Imelda R. Marcos during her “conjugal dictatorship” with Ferdinand E. Marcos, the Nov. 28 Inquirer editorial pointedly asked: “Why is this woman (still) at large? And why have Filipinos let her and her family get away with murder?”

Here’s the obvious answer: A great multitude of Filipinos have already become  so idiotized that they just don’t care anymore about history—or anything else that requires them to make use of their brains for that matter! What more glaring proof of this than the 41 million plus of our countrymen (close to half of our current population!) who can’t get enough of “AlDub”? My goodness! What kind of lunacy is this? Just look at how they swoon and scream over such idiocy which has absolutely nothing to do with how their lives in this benighted country can get any better!
