Naia a ‘cesspool of corruption and a shame’

I thank the Inquirer for its reports on corruption at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia). Corruption in that international gateway pops up in many forms.

My cousin missed his flight to Singapore last December because an immigration lady demanded to see a letter of invitation for him to go to that country. Unable to produce one and not willing to pony up a “fee,” the youngster missed his flight.

He had saved up to purchase the non-refundable CebuPac ticket. His other friends were lucky enough to make the journey without encountering a hoodlum in uniform.

Naia is a cesspool of dishonesty and is a shame to the world.
