Turning the Torre into a ‘photocatcher’

01:14 AM August 08, 2015

Before anything else, let me say I pity the developer and contractor of Torre de Manila. It must have spent millions of pesos already for the building. And of course, I also pity the workers who have lost the chance to make a living because of the suspension of Torre de Manila’s construction.

Since the location of Torre de Manila is outside of Luneta Park, and instead of blaming the past and present officials of Manila, may I suggest that the entire front of the building facing Luneta Park, from the 49th floor down to the ground floor, be painted with the design of the Philippine flag. So, instead of being a “photobomber,” the Torre will become a “photocatcher.” Everybody will want to have a picture taken at the Rizal Monument with a replica of the Philippine flag as background.
