The country’s action of presenting before the international arbitral tribunal its arguments against China’s “territory-grabbing spree” pays tribute and honor to the Filipinos’ great respect for the rules and institutions that the international community has agreed upon.
Why is China, with all its might and power, too afraid to face the Philippines in an international court of law? Do its leaders sense that the Philippines has the law on its side and that China’s illegal occupation of our territories will be declared unethical, illegal and uncivilized? They can take our territories only by force but never by any legal means. All the best for the Philippines!
